07/10/2010: 7 th MEETING OF FANS OF BRUCE LEE, 70 ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL
The 2010 meeting, the main event of the year the European Bruce Lee Club, will be held the first weekend in December 2010, on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 in Barcelona.
The European Bruce Lee Club is involved in the preparation and configuration of the different activities of the event. We anticipate that the Sabbath day 4 in the afternoon there will be a screening of a film / documentary and special presentation of Bruce Lee Mania, 70 anniversary. The official dinner event will be held Sunday night 5.

Within the program of VI international exhibition of comic Imaginamálaga, will conduct a conference call on October 1 from 11:30 h by Marcos Ocaña, author of El guerrero del Bambú and member of European Bruce Lee Club, followed by a demonstration of Jeet Kune Do Spain. On Saturday, day 2 in the morning and afternoon will be workshops and demonstrations by the Club Sports Jeet Kune Do Spain. The European Bruce Lee Club gives his support to this event.

Last Saturday July 24th Bruce Lee Manía interviewed Richard Bustillo, an original Bruce Lee student, at the Enrique Granados hotel in Barcelona. The interview was very relaxed thanks to the kindness of Mr. Bustillo, who told us countless personal anecdotes about the Little Dragon, as well as his art of JKD. The interview will be shown soon exclusively for the members of the European Bruce Lee Club.

6/12/2009: THE SECOND DAY OF THE 6th MEETING OF FANS AND FOLLOWERS OF BRUCE LEE
The last day of the Meeting started with the presentation of the Bruce Lee Manía –magazine. Conducted by the director of it; Jaime Elias, after presenting it, each of the writers of the different articles commented their own articles.
After which, Marcos Ocaña presented his second book, "Bruce Lee el Guerrero del Bambu" (Bruce Lee, The Warrior of the Bamboo). Accompanied by Joaquín Marcelo (writer of the foreword), and by Jaume Alcalde (the cover and design), Ocaña explained with great detail the book, which is the most awaited book on Bruce Lee for 2010.
By the time these two presentations were finished, an open “round-table” discussion started with questions and answers with participation with anyone willing to do so. In this discussion, all different aspects of “Little Dragon” were covered, from martial arts to big screen, as a human being and even some historical aspects were covered.
The closure dinner was held in the principal hall of the Can Armengol restaurant.
5/12/2009: THE START OF THE 6th MEETING OF THE FANS AND FOLLOWERS OF BRUCE LEE IN BARCELONA, SPAIN
Today we have started the activities of the 6th Meeting, with a lunch for the members of the European Bruce Lee Club in the restaurant “Piccolo Mafia”. Apart of getting to know in person and comment things among the members, they had the unique and privileged opportunity to see a video prepared by Marcos Ocaña of the localizations of Bruce Lee in Hong Kong and Thailand.
26/11/2009: NEW ACTIVITY IN THE MEETING OF BARCELONA: "CORNER OF THE COLLECTOR"
In a day and hour still to be determined, we will try to enable a room so that all the collectors who wish it, could bring that Bruce Lee material Lee he might have repeated and want to exchange with other collectors. This way the collectors can know each other a little bit better in a personal dealing face to face , to talk about the material , to see it, to touch it and, also, save themselves the possible problems and proper expenses of the mail transactions.
If you want to bring material, it is very important that you communicate and European Bruce Lee Club it to us as soon as possible, as well as a possible forecast of the material that youll bring (quantity), to be able to do the forescats of space for the activity, as well as to make sure that every collector can exibit his/her material.
15/11/2009:CANCELLED SEMINAR TED WONG, BARCELONA 2009
In relation to the information that we provided last Friday about the possible cancellation of the seminar that TED WONG should conduct in Barcelona, we inform you that:
Up to the moment we have not received any response to the e-mail that we sent to TED WONG confirming or denying it.Due to the lack of information and stating that TED WONG didn’t attend to the events and seminars that he had programmed this November (seminar in Nepal, Singapore, etc), the EUROPEAN BRUCE LEE CLUB has taken the decision, much to our sorrow, to CANCEL the seminar that TED WONG had to teach in the Meeting this coming December 5th & 6th in Barcelona.Following the good will of the Club, the money for the seminar will be fully reimbursed to all the attendants.
In any case, we let you know that the MEETING 2009 continues on with activities such as the dinner, conference (with lecturers yet to be determined) and other complementary activities of which we will report in detail in the next coming days.

22/8/2009: PHOTO SECTION IS BEING ACTUALIZED
In the new section of photos you can see a part of the photos taken in SENI 2008 of the Bruce Lee area. This event was celebrated in the capital of Great Britain on the days of April 26th and 27th of 2008 with the motive of the Bruce Lee´s 35th anniversary the Bruce Lee
Museum was presented as one of the activities. BruceLeeManía was the only publication, apart of the Foundation, that was permitted filming freely, for that we´ll like to thank Tommy Gong, Tommy Carruthers and Ryan Ghita.

28/6/2009: SESSION OF QUESTIONS TO ALLEN JOE IN THE FORUM "EN EL ESPÍRITU DE BRUCE LEE"
The European Bruce Lee Club has achieved that all the forum visitors of the most important Spanish spoken website on Bruce Lee had a chance to spend the evening of Sunday June 28th with Allen Joe. Allen with his 86 years got to know Bruce Lee in the 1962 and until his death they had a great friendship. During the session Joe left information that able us to know “Little Dragon” somewhat better.
17/6/2009: CONFERENCE AND DINNER WITH TED WONG, CONFIRMED
On Sunday December 6th, hour still to be determined, will be celebrated in the central hall of the restaurant of Ca N'Armengol (Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Barcelona) a conference starring Ted Wong on the figure of Bruce Lee, on both, as a martial artist and as a human being. Once finished the conference, the members of the Club will have private space of time to have photos done and autographs with Ted Wong, before entering to the hall next to it, where the dinner and the closure of the event will be celebrated.

13/6/2009: SENDING THE MATERIAL FOR THE FIRST MEMBERS
The first members of the European Bruce Lee Club has started this week to receive their welcome material to the Club, personalized membership card, limited edition t-shirt and dvd “his Legacy stays alive” with a special edition with some extra minutes covering collectors and merchandizing of Bruce Lee including false takes. Apart of this in the following months (December and June), each member receives the “Bruce Lee Manía” –magazine and even more importantly, discounts and special treatment during the activities organized by the Club.
We ask our members in the name of the European Bruce Lee Club, in order to help itself and its future projects, please do not promote piracy nor make copies to third parties of the material received by the members. Only that way, and by you being active part of the Club, the number of the members’ increases and the objectives and aims can be achieved.

The Bruce Lee Foundation directed by Linda and Shannon Lee give their approval and support to the European Bruce Lee Club, to the Bruce Lee Manía –magazine and to the activities the Club does. This way, the European Bruce Lee Club, becomes on of the very few and selected Official Bruce Lee Clubs in the world.
